Alexander Nemerovsky - Petite Suite Orientale,

Can somebody please post a link to a biography of the composer? I have trouble finding something (and the right thing). Straightforward little set of pieces, after thinking about it i actually like the repetitiveness of the second movement, it fits to this lamenting kind of music. All three movements are in g minor.
