Foil - Don’t Come Around

Official Video for Edinburgh band, Foil. This time for “Don’t Come Around“, which is also on the debut album “Spread It All Around“ (released January 1998 and available on iTunes), not actually a single but was the 2nd track on the single “A Place to Hide“ (perhaps it was a double A?) that was released in September 1997 Foil at the time of this consisted of Hugh Duggie(vocals and Guitar), Colin McInally(guitar), Shug Anderson(bass) and Jim Anderson (drums). This upload has now been fully endorsed by Hugh Duggie! I had sync problems with this first time around, so it’s now VHS to MPEG2 with MP2 sound and then converted to MPEG4 with MP3 sound, hopefully this will work, but even so it’s pretty basic, so again apologies for the quality, but it’s better than not having any Foil on here. The Video is Copyright Mute Records, and I used Martin C Strongs “Great Scots Musicography“ for dates, names and other details. As I’ve discovered EMI bought Mute in 2002, so this is also copyright to them, as I’ve also discovered since last upload, both Foil albums “Spread it All Around“ and “Never Got Hip“ are available on iTunes, both with extra tracks which consist of all singles and “B“ sides, so, as far as I know thats everything, only £ each too, go on buy one or both, lets start the Foil revival here and maybe Shug can buy a new wooly hat!
