“resurrection“

This is a visual piece of the death & resurrection of Jesus using visual metaphors of the ocean. Scene 1: Represents: [Mark 15:33] “At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.“ Scene 2: the first heavy wave represents the crushing and the weight of our sins that Jesus carried, that we were unable to carry ourselves: “He himself bore our sins“ in his body on the cross“ [2 Peter 2:24] Scene 3: This represents the day of the resurrection. When Mary wakes up before sunrise, and sees that the tomb is empty. It shows the hope that maybe the Son has risen from the grave. [John 20:1] “Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance“. Scene 3b: (Luke 24:6) “He is not here; he has risen!“ Scene 4: The final waves represents the “new wave“ of disciples Jesus spoke about in his final Great Commission. And the Spirit which would come and propel them into this ministry. [Matthew 28]: “All
