Kurt Cobain Was Murdered (Live), January 18, 1998, Seattle Public Access TV, copyright Richard Lee. Richard Lee was probably the first person Nick Broomfield interviewed when coming to Seattle, yet he does not appear in the famous film, except in the Additional Scenes files of Broomfield’s European DVD of “Kurt and Courtney.“ Broomfield declined on the phone to do a follow up interview to this odd encounter, which appears on the obscure DVD (but clipped out are the bits where Nick sees that Lee has a TV program on the very subject he is researching). Hmm.
