Feline Follies is a 1919 short silent animated film distributed by Paramount Pictures. It marked the first appearance of the character Felix the Cat. Felix the Cat is an anthropomorphic cat, a cartoon character that appeared during the silent film era. His black body, large white eyes, wide smile and surreal situations that he got into during the plot made Felix one of the most recognizable characters in the history of animation.
