More from Inside Edition:
A police officer went above and beyond the call of duty when he rescued a 2-year-old boy who was left in a car after his mother allegedly crashed into a fire hydrant and fled. LAPD officer John Neal Cooke told Inside Edition: “The mom did a monstrous thing in abandoning her child.“ Police say the boy’s mother, Elizabeth Robles, crashed into the hydrant, sending a geyser of water into the sky. Cops arrested the mom who they found two hours later, authorities say she had been drinking. #InsideEdition
