Dudley Do-Right Season 1 (Restored Version)

Dudley Do-Right is a dim-witted, but conscientious and cheerful Canadian Mountie who works for Inspector Fenwick. Dudley is always trying to catch his nemesis, Snidely Whiplash, and rescue Inspector Fenwick’s daughter, damsel-in-distress Nell Fenwick, with whom Dudley is deeply infatuated. He usually succeeds only by pure luck or through the actions of his horse, named “Horse.“ A running gag throughout the series is Nell’s great affection for Horse and her disregard for Dudley. In the standard intro, Dudley jumps on Horse and rides him backwards until he comes across Whiplash tying Nell to a railroad track. He tips his hat to the two, then quickly realizes what is going on and rights himself in time to save the day.
