This is footage of a performance of a pas de deux from Act 2 of ‘Giselle’ given by Nadezhda Pavlova and Vyacheslav Gordeev in 1976. It comes from the documentary ‘Young Duo’ which showcases the work of this extraordinary ballerina and I am re-posting the performance now as the colour here is more natural than in my original upload …. and I never tire of seeing Nadezda Pavlova in almost anything!
