Alfred Hitchcock’s The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob

The first movie I ever saw in a theater was Gérard Oury’s 1974 comedy “The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob“ with Louis de Funès, it made a big impression on me, especially the scene in the candy factory. This video takes that scene (which is mostly without a musical score) and adds the music from Vertigo by Bernard Herrmann to transform Oury’s comedy into a noir drama as if directed by Hitchcock.
