Agricultural School Issue Title - They’re Open (1941)

Agricultural school. Wiltshire. Various shots of the agricultural school in Dauncey (?) with students herding and dipping sheep, feeding chickens and pigs, and spraying potatoes against blight. Boys sow onion crops on an old golf course. A land girl shows them how to crank up a tractor. They drive the tractor and sow oats and beans. A man rakes up crops which are cut by a machine. Various shots as they pitch silage into the container. M/S as they sit in a line and pluck chickens. They stand around whilst a man shows them how to use a thatch making machine. M/S of cows walking up the lane, a boy milks a cow by hand. M/S of a calf drinking from its mother. The milk is tested for acidity etc. L/S as the young farmers swim in an outdoor pool to relax.
