Trump hit by bullet at Pennsylvania rally, FBI confirms amid investigation | LiveNOW from FOX

Two weeks after Donald Trump was nearly assassinated at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the FBI confirmed in a statement that it was indeed a bullet that struck the former president’s ear. The FBI statement read, “what struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle.” The agency wanted to clear up conflicting accounts of what caused Trump’s injuries after a gunman opened fire on him, killing retired fire chief Corey Comperatore, and wounding two other supporters. Federal investigators identified the gunman as Thomas Matthew Crooks, but said it does not have a clear idea of his motive. LiveNOW’s Josh Breslow discusses the multiple investigations into the shooting with Mike Harrigan, a retired chief of the FBI’s firearms training program and current principal at Pax Group, LLC.
