The Daredevil (1932)

Introductory intertitle reads: “Meet a mermaid who thinks nothing of battling with crocodiles - bare handed!“ M/Ss of a pool full of crocodiles. They all look very fierce and there is growling on the soundtrack. A man wades into the pool with a stick, he prods the crocodiles. It is hard to make out what he is saying but it is something about how exercise helps them to keep their girlish figures. Various shots of the crocs. Some roll in the water, others eat something. L/S of the man standing behind a fence around the crocodile enclosure. A woman stands beside him. He points out a particular specimen he wants to train. The girl (now in a swimsuit) wades into the pool asking “which one dad?“ She grabs the croc and there is a bit of a fight. Various shots of her grappling with the croc. She lifts the crocodile out of the pool saying “Boy, is he heavy!“. “The babies get their milk - whether they like it or not!“ M/S of a little girl (about 4 or 5 years old) feeding some baby crocodiles.
