German musicians Gerd Wienekamp and Frank Specht are “Rainbow Serpent“. They were / are influenced by Klaus Schulze, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Software, Steve Roach, Lisa Gerrard, Peter Gabriel and Filmmusic. they released many cds so far “elements 2“ is a superb track. It is from their cd ’Stranger“, a collaboration between Rainbow Serpent and female singer ’Isgaard“. With the long awaited album “Stranger“, the German duo Gerd Wienekamp and Frank Specht has delivered an outstanding album of contemporary and vibrant electronic music which I’m sure will be welcomed by a large audience.
