All Alone (Irving Berlin) Ballad piano roll 6976

All Alone (Berlin) Welte roll issued June 1925, played by Howard Lutter. Howard Harry Lutter (1889-1959) was a native of Newark, New Jersey. Of German ancestry, he was a pupil of Prof. Karg and Rafael Joseffy. Lutter was not only a pianist but also the leader of an excellent orchestra. He was chief popular music editor of the De Luxe Roll Corporation, makers of piano rolls for the Welte-Mignon (Licensee) Reproducing Piano. He died at the age of 70 in Los Angeles in 1959.
