Philippines vs. India: Emergency in the Biggest Religious Gatherings

Allahabad, situated in the south of the State of Uttar Pradesh, is home of the Maha Kumbh Mela, the biggest religious and human gathering in the world. The arrival of such a dense crowd converging on a site of 32 km2 causes enormous challenges in terms of health care. In the Philippines, during the Procession of the Black Nazarene, hundred thousand Filipinos gather in the capital to take part in the event.
