For 21 years now, Mouse on Mars have been pushing the boundaries of how music is made, both with their releases and their music production apps.
This year, the duo of Jan St. Werner and Andy Toma celebrate 21 years of music with a new compilation, a box-set documenting the group’s history, an LP-format book titled Notes, a two-day festival in Berlin (from October 31 to November 1), a new app, WretchUp, a release of their Peel Sessions and more. Last year, they took FACT’s Against the Clock challenge and completely tore up the format, so this year we set them a harder task: to record a 21-track album, live, in 21 minutes. Did they manage it? Of course they did.
