Pro-Palestine students occupy Macron’s university in Paris

Pro-Palestine students have occupied the Paris university attended by Emmanuel Macron. The students at Sciences Po are calling for the university, attended by the French president and Gabriel Attal, the prime minister, to “cut its ties with universities and companies that are complicit in the genocide in Gaza” and “end the repression of pro-Palestinian voices on campus”. With keffiyehs on their heads, Palestinian flags hanging from the railings and slogans in support of the Palestinian struggle, students who had spent the night in the school could be seen on Friday morning in the windows of its historic headquarters in the seventh arrondissement.
