Sailing Deserted Islands - Bahamas

Have you ever wanted to have a tropical island to yourself? We think the Bahamas is one of the few cruising destinations where this is possible! The Plana Cays lie 20 miles from the nearest settlement, and they are uninhabited. One theory is that this was Columbus’ first landfall in the Caribbean. We can’t get over the fabulous colour of the water and the miles of white sand beach. There is an off-lying reef so we anchor outside and bring the dinghy in to shore. Check out our boat here...
