Jupa - Chuvash Wood Sculpture

Cuvaššijă Sanattorĭ şumĕnce căvaš ăstisem jyvăşran jupa tusa lartas simppoşăm irtterni şincen repporttaš. Chuvash wooden sculpture is based on folklore, ancient legends and cosmology. Every year Chuvash sculptors hold an assembly in Resort Chuvashia, where their works could be seen. The statues are there to promote ancient and modern myths of the Chuvash.
