Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion HD | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

The other day I was looking for indie horror games to record and archive for the channel and I stumbled upon a video from the golden age of YouTube. Back in the day many channels covered the awesome, yet simple, Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion. The premise was simple with you exploring 1000 randomly generated rooms while encountering unique enemies and mechanics ever 100 rooms or so. This creates an awesome vibe and pacing and combined with the cute esthetics, it is a game that stands the test of time. But most of all I love how this game is a love letter to horror games from all throughout history. From nods and winks to classics like Resident Evil or Silent Hill, but also more recent entries like Deadspace or SCP. Even creepy games like Majora’s Mask get some love here and you are always excited to see what type of horror and gameplay will come next. Going through a 1000 rooms might seem like a lot, but with these awesome surprises and gameplay, it felt like a breeze! #spookysjumpscaremansion #gaming #horrorgaming
