Highlights of the BFI LUMINOUS Gala 2017 | BFI

On 3 October 2017, the stars gathered for the BFI LUMINOUS Gala, the biennial fundraising gala presented in partnership with IWC Schaffhausen, held to celebrate British film, raise money to ensure young people from all backgrounds can engage with their cinematic heritage, and champion new talent and emerging filmmaking voices. Attendees included: LUMINOUS guest speaker Tilda Swinton; actors Tom Hiddleston, Romola Garai, Hugh Laurie, Sir Patrick Stewart, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Irons and David Harewood; directors Baz Luhrmann, Wes Anderson, Tom Hooper, and writer-director Daniel Kokotajlo - recipient of the IWC Schaffhausen Filmmaker Bursary Award in association with the BFI.
