- WER NUN DEN LIEBEN GOTT LÄSST WALTEN (BWV 642) [Hauptwerk // Noordbroek]

In this video you can hear my rendition of ’s “Wer nun den Lieben Gott lässt walten (BWV 642)” played on my Hauptwerk organ. I have chosen to use the sample set of Noordbroek, created by Sonus Paradisi. Wer nur den lieben Gott lässt walten (BWV 642) by Johann Sebastian Bach is a very popular and often played organ chorale prelude. The organ work is written as a stark and powerful organ chorale prelude. Bach composed “Wer nur den lieben Gott läßt walten“ (He who allows dear God to rule him) for his Orgelbüchlein (Little Organ Book). It is a 1641 hymn by Georg Neumark, who also composed the melody for it. The chorale prelude doesn’t have a special place in the liturgical year but probably included it in his Orgelbüchlein because it was a popular hymn at that time. ____________________________________________________ SUPPORT THE CHANNEL BY BECOMING A MEMBER The most important thing is that the people watching my video enjoy them and hopeful
