Set Fire to the Rain - Anna and Johan - Monster AMV

“My tongue will tell the anger of my heart, or else my heart concealing it will break.“ What started as a “random fun“ edit to help me break my editing block ended up stressing me the hell out. So I ended up hating it halfway through but I had to this one was going to be dedicated to some really amazing people! I will say I cunningly cut out all parts of the lyrics that referenced a romance and twisted the song’s meaning to fit my narrative - which was to represent the grief/pain that comes with burning bridges with anyone you never wanted to lose in your life. I had a theme in my head but I think what started as a Johan/Anna amv ended up becoming an Anna/Nina tribute. You can see it as both honestly. But I think I started editing this video with a thought in doesn’t get enough credit for all the pain she went through. Everyone focuses so much on Johan’s never truly acknowledge that Anna/Nina went through so much. Imagine the one person you loved/adored and trusted with every fiber of your being suddenly becoming a stranger tainted in blood? Imagine the heartbreak she felt that her mind forcefully burned all of her memories of Johan and her entire childhood in order to to be thrown back into that same hell once again by his hand.
