A tweet by a retired Indian General angered many recently, after claiming a picture showed homeless people starving in Beijing. The only problem? It is actually a photo of people sleeping outside after a massive 8 Richter scale earthquake back in 2008 that killed 70,000 and left many homeless. So today we’ll take a look at the real situation for homeless people in China: what does the government do to help them? And why is it that major cities in China have so few homeless?
