I dedicate this recording of “A Whiter Shade of Pale“ to the loving memory of life long friend, the legendary Hungarian actress, Mari Törőcsik (1935-2021). Transcription of the 1967 Procol Harum song for organ and guitar, performed by guitarist Johnny Lake and Xaver Varnus on the Casavant Organ in his own concert hall in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia. •●The Official Video Site of Concert Organist Xaver Varnus●• Xaver Varnus’ first piano teacher was Emma Németh, one of the last pupils of Debussy.
