Israel: Neighbours sing national anthem from balconies in Holon

Residents in Holon were heard singing the Israeli national anthem from an apartment building balcony on Wednesday night. Video shared on social media shows several lit windows in apartment buildings as the anthem is played loudly and people sing along. Cheers can be heard after the last verse. Holon is approximately 50 kilometres north of Gaza. After a weekend rampage by militants who breached the border fence enclosing Gaza, Israel’s death toll rose to 1,200 with over 2,700 wounded, its military said.
