How to sew / embroider a French knot

In this DROPS video we show how to sew / embroider a French knot. Insert the needle from the wrong side and up to the right side where you would like the French knot to be positioned. Wind the strand around the end of the needle 2 to 4 times – depending on how big you wish the knot to be. Thread the needle down, stitches away from where the strand came up and pull it out on the wrong side. Pulling the strand through the material fastens the French knot. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. This video has NO SOUND - You must read a pattern using this technique to be able to follow this video properly.
