LISTEN: CONNECT: [Secat] takes the listener inside of this space of metamorphosis. No clean, teleological transformation, but a primordial genetic soup of sounds. Plateaus of coherence emerge like the imperceptible imaginal discs the caterpillar maintains as it disintegrates every part of its body, to eventually emerge as a wholly different entity. As inside and outside spill into each other, samples and constructed sounds seamlessly blend together.
