SLOUGH OF DESPAIR - Deluge of Regrets (Single 2024)

Hailing from Athens, Greece, SLOUGH OF DESPAIR was formed in 2018 after guitarist Panos Lampropoulos began working on the material for their debut album, “Catacombs of Terror“. Originally released digitally in 2020, the album was later distributed on CD by Chaos/Personal Records in 2021, and on cassette by Read My Feast Records in the same year. After lineup changes that occurred in mid-2020 and late 2023, the band solidified its members with Barry Copestake (ELDERSEER) assuming vocal duties, and worked on material for what would become the “Deluge of Regrets“ EP in 2024. Titled “Deluge of Regrets“, this four-song, 25-minute monolith is an abyssal journey through the darkest realms of sound, a visceral odyssey of doom-laden melodies and death-infused harmonies.
