Taking A Scientific Approach To Spirituality

Is it possible to take a scientific approach to spirituality? After all... practically everything we read in spiritual teachings, and hear from masters like Eckhart Tolle and Lester Levenson, cannot be proven. And yet many of us repeat what they say, things like “I am an unlimited being.“ But if we can’t prove it (actually demonstrate unlimitedness in our lives) then what good does it do us to say it? Of course... it’s uplifting and all that jazz. But we can do better than that, because we can take a practical, scientific approach to spirituality and see for ourselves that every bit of these great spiritual teachings is true! ...or not.
