This was shot from Mount Pinos, Calif. on a very dark night. We pan from the Southern Horizon in the constellation Sagittarius up through the Milky Way to the zenith (straight up) and end up in the constellation Cygnus.
Equipment used: Sony A7S camera with Fujinon 50mm f1.6 lens (not the sharpest wide open). A7S Settings: 1/20th sec shutter, ISO = 250,000, Clear creative mode, Full-Frame.
Please pardon my excessive panning speed at some points in the video. (I’ll work on that for next time).
