Moya Zemlya, Moya Sestra

“Moya Zemlya, Moya Sestra” (My land, my sister) is a chant, a prayer, a supplication so that all the divisions between people and the resulting wars will never happen again, a prayer great enough to maintain peace among men and harmony on the mother earth that hosts us. The real face of the transformist LeiKiè has remained a mystery to this day. In all her music videos and social media, the artist only shows the face of her characters, all of them different in terms of genre and style, but all of them charismatic, funny and entertaining. LeiKiè does not want to reveal her face, because she says that in order to get to know each other, it is not necessary to identify oneself. That is why each new character, like a puzzle, adds a new element to her soul. But there are no characters in the new single “Moya Zemlya, Moya Sestra“ (My Land, My Sister). It is the artist’s face that appears in a veiled and poetic way in an intimate song that addresses Mother Earth, thanking her for her greatness and the infinite love she gives us. A lyric that enchants for its sweetness and excites for the spontaneous love that erupts from the depths of the soul, she who is sister to our mother earth. From crazy satire to heavenly prayer. From the no-sense of LeiKiè, to the emotions that get under your skin. LeiKiè’s innovative musical format continues: “Melodic door-to-door bringing smiles across borders“. To date, LeiKiè’s funny singles and music videos have been released in several languages and have spread smiles and satire to different countries. The new single “Moya Zemlya, Moya Sestra” belongs to a different genre, yet it still goes beyond borders, this time, however, bringing words of peace and love. The song “Moya Zemlya, Moya Sestra“ (My Homeland, My Sister Land) was born during a singing improvisation accompanied by a piano. On that occasion, the singer gave vent to her emotions through lyrics, inspired by love for mother earth and the pain that war causes. The improvised melody is exactly the same as the one that emerged during the improvisation. The artist wanted to remain totally faithful to it. During the improvisation, the singer used a Grammelot that was reminiscent of a Slavic language, as it perfectly matched the melody. This is why the artist later wrote the lyrics inspired by the peace she wanted for her Russian and Ukrainian brotherly friends, both of whom are historically considered to be cousins. LeiKiè translated the words of the song into Russian together with Russian and Ukrainian friends. The violinist is also Russian. The song is dedicated to all the countries of the world that suffer from wars and where there is a lack of respect for the human being and for our wonderful planet earth that hosts us with all its generosity, only asking for peace and love in return. LeiKiè, coherent with her “experiencing“ music at 360°, temporarily abandons satire to launch a message of total love towards humanity and earth. They say that earth is getting that’s not the earth is changing to defend itself from the being who, more than any other living being, has tried, for better or worse, to exploit the opportunities and resources it offers. Now, however, all the wrong choices are taking their toll and in this last period the consequences are coming all at once. This is the only solution, the only way, the only answer to those who still exploit and fight thinking selfishly only in their own interests or ideas, without realising that the evil done turns against them and involves even those who are not at fault. The song is a ballad full of emotion and passion, pain and love, light and shade. A piano and a violin accompany a poignant and intense melody, energetic and, in the depth of the lyrics, also positive because full of hope. The video that accompanies the song, as always created and interpreted by LèiKiè, matches the music perfectly. Spectacular images blend with the character, creating a succession of sensations full of hope, light and life. Talking about a harsh topic , LeiKiè nevertheless conveys a feeling of serenity. A poetic music video that brings together the most beautiful images of the world because they belong to it. The singer’s veiled face blends harmoniously into the wonderful nature that appears and dances, accompanying the words and music of the song with intensity. We still have a way to make up for our mistakes, this is the central message that reaches the hearts of those who listen to and watch this latest work by LeiKiè, always in perfect symbiosis between music and images.
