Japan’s Beautiful Cherry Blossoms and Kumano Shrine - Hitachi

Kumano Shrine is located next to the Yamate Factory of Hitachi Works, Hitachi, Ltd., in Hitachi city, Ibaraki Prefecture. It has been worshipped as Hitachi’s guardian deity since 1918, shortly after the company’s is also famous for its beautiful Somei-Yoshino cherry trees, planted around 1920, which come into full bloom every spring.
