ARCADIA - 1985 SO RED THE ROSE ALBUM REACTION (A DURAN DURAN DEEP DIVE SERIES)

Welcome back, fellow music lovers! Join me on yet another exciting exploration of the world of Duran Duran. Hold on a second, though – this isn’t Duran Duran... But wait, is that Simon Le Bon’s voice we hear? In actuality, it is none other than the charismatic vocalist himself, along with keyboardist Nick Rhodes and drummer Roger Taylor, who have come together to form the enchanting trio known as ’Arcadia’. With the release of their one and only album ’So Red the Rose’, ’Arcadia’ delivers a delightful selection of energetic tracks with a few dreamy and atmospheric ballads woven in. It’s a fantastic recommendation for anyone who is just discovering Duran Duran’s earlier works. Apologies for the inaudible commentary. As explained a few weeks ago on my channel, the video wasn’t recorded very well and it was tricky trying to salvage the parts where my voice was being drowned out by the music. Not my best deep dive but still hope you enjoy! ________________________________________ SONGS BY CHAPTER: 0:00 - Introduction 1:12 - Election Day 6:40 - Keep Me in the Dark 12:26 - Goodbye is Forever 16:14 - The Flame 20:36 - Missing 24:52 - Rose Arcana 26:10 - The Promise 31:43 - El Diablo 35:44 - Lady Ice ________________________________________ FOLLOW ME ON SOCIALS Instagram: Instagram (photography & music): Twitter: ________________________________________ RESOURCES Duran Duran Wikipedia page: Duran Duran Fandom Wiki: Duran Duran’s Official Website: Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use“ for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
