Chasing the Ghost Particle: From the South Pole to the Edge of the Universe

We are entering into an exciting new era in astronomy using neutrinos, and the IceCube Neutrino Observatory has a front row seat to all the action at it’s South Pole detector. But what exactly is a neutrino? And how do we chase and capture something so small and elusive that it’s nickname is the Ghost Particle?
