There is a war for the last facet of humanity in people: emotions (happiness, rage, fear). But Supercontinent are the ones who got close to that goal with their most recent development of an AI capable of empathy. However, not everyone is on board with the regime, imposed by the corporations. A revolutionary group starts operating to fight those in power. Transhumanism is thriving. Internal organ replacement is now a new norm. Those implants make people smarter and stronger. At the same time a mysterious bartender Donovan is wiping glasses in his small downtown bar.
