Baby flying-foxes daily life: Sequoia and her Puppy, and Guinness and Lambchop

Our kiddies Sequoia and Guinness are growing up. Sequoia loves to have her bottle and turns into a baby when she’s cradled and fed, getting all relaxed and blissed out. Sequoia loves to hang on her Puppy teddy, and pees on it, requiring it to be washed every few days (the weather here is quite humid and warm and the old urine is stinky in my apartment). She really doesn’t like Puppy to be removed for washing and beats up Moby the whale when I live that to her as a substitute, the beats up Puppy when I return him. I was hoping that if I replaced Puppy with a more up and down Puppy teddy (Pirate), that it would get less urine on it. So when she was off Puppy I tried to substitute, and she saw me and raced to retrieve Puppy from me. Eventually when she was having a drink I was able to replace Puppy with Pirate, which she promptly beat up for not being Puppy.
