OpenSea NFTs Stolen! Pirates and Phishermen on the OpenSea

A few days ago OpenSea users found that NFTs were being stolen by a phisherman. At first, little was known about the exploitation and everyone feared that all OpenSea NFTs were at risk. Spoiler alert- it turns out that EIP-712 does help to improve the security of off-chain signatures, but users still need to take their own precautions against phishing attacks and scams.
