Line and Wash | Painting a Lincoln Townhouse in Ink and Watercolor

In this video I’m painting a lovely grand pair of townhouses that can be found on Castle Hill in Lincoln. I’m doing it in the style of the house portraits I’ve been painting for commissions. The differences are slight but they are that generally the commission sketches I want to be more precise in terms of proportions - so I’ll measure carefully before I begin. I also use a smaller brush and paint in more detail. This wasn’t a commissioned piece - just a building I found interesting from a recent day trip to Lincoln!
