Zooming in on the colourful star cluster NGC 3590

This zoom video starts with a view of the spectacular southern Milky Way and gradually closes in on a rich region of the sky in the constellation of Carina (The Keel). The colourful final image comes from the MPG/ESO telescope at ESO’s La Silla Observatory in Chile and shows the star cluster NGC 3590.
