LS3 Big Dog. The Legged Squad Help Method (LS3) is a rough-terrain robot designed by Boston Dynamics with funding from DARPA and the US Marine Corps. It is developed to have four hundred lbs of payload and journey 20 miles without refueling. LS3 has sensors that enable it adhere to a human chief while staying away from obstacles in the terrain.
