Pink Martini’s Summer 2022 TOUR tickets are on sale now at: Excerpted from Pink Martini’s live concert at Edgefield in Portland, “Andalucia“ is a piece by the great Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona, from his Andalucia Suite, arranged for Pink Martini by bandleader/pianist Thomas Lauderdale, and first heard in this form on the band’s debut album Sympathique. Filmed on a rainy day in September 2021, soon after the band started touring again after a long hiatus during quarantine, Pink Martini is also joined here by pianist Hunter Noack, of the celebrated wilderness piano recital project IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild. Hunter Noack’s debut album, In a Landscape, will be released on Pink Martini’s own label Heinz Records on June 8, 2022.
