BlauDisS - Khan Khentii [making of organic electronic]

Khan Khentii is my contribution to the Trans-Siberian Express album for the Legacy of Thought label. Each artist wrote a track for stops on the Trans-Siberian railway in (mostly) Russia. I’ve been wanting to use Mongolian throat singing in my music for awhile now, and this was the perfect opportunity to try it out! I’ve also been thinking about more experimentation with different time signatures. This is the first track I’ve written in 6/8 time in the BlauDisS project. You may also notice that many of the percussion sounds are from trains (wheels rolling, steam) to fit the album theme.
