The Flying Hun - The Turkish Majra

The Turkish Majra (aka - Navak or Tong-ah) is a neat piece of history - think of it as a device to turn your bow into a crossbow. I believe it to be the most dangerous thing I’ve built in a while, the margin for error is pretty great; the possibility for getting shot in the hand seems like it would be pretty good. Overdraw devices in general have a pretty bad track record for safety, and I don’t encourage anyone to try this at home.
