2 MILE WIDE EF4, MISSISSIPPI EASTER TORNADO

On April 12, 2020 (Easter Sunday) a tornado well over 2 miles wide tore a path 68 miles long through Southern Mississippi. Towns like Bassfield, Soso, Collins, and Laurel were hit particularly hard. The tornado was rated EF4, and at miles wide, it was officially the 3rd widest tornado in recorded history in the United States, and the widest tornado in Mississippi history.
