My name is Ignatius (although most people call me Iggy) and I’m British photojournalist and volunteer in Ukraine. I run a team evacuating civilians from the frontlines and over the past year we have evacuated over three thousand people. While I arrived in Ukraine in March 2022 and worked as a photojournalist, I soon realised that the best thing I could do for these people is help take them to safety.
