The two wives of Mr. Big then extend sympathies/condolences to each other and offer coolness to their respective burns. The child-less Carrie learns that Natasha has two sons and is advised to un-follow each other on Instagram to keep it distanced. Carrie appears to have arrived at an understanding with Natasha - who is not interested in the money offered by Mr. Finance - after being stormed by the million dollar question, she tries to un-puzzle with her friends, earlier in the episode. Overall, this scene which takes a pacifying turn is still an iconic reminder of Natasha lecturing Carrie in S03E17 that she is a home-wrecker and husband-snatcher despite the newspaper-Dior-dress by John Galliano she’s just strutted in: “Yes. I’m sorry about it all. I’m sorry he moved to Paris and fell in love with me. I’m sorry that we ever got married.
