The Rocks Aroma Festival Coffee Sculpture - Marilyn Monroe

Watch our team create a replica of Marilyn Monroe using 5200 cups of coffee. Lattes, long blacks and flat whites were used to make this masterpiece. Milk and coffee that could not be sold as they were on their expiry date were used. GreenPower was purchased for the entire event including the brewing of the coffee for the sculpture. When the sculpture was dismantled cups with seed cards in them of a locally-native lemon scented bottlebrush were given away and event patrons were encouraged to grow the seedling in the cup. The liquid waste was collected and treated, with the oil and grease reclaimed and used for in stock feed and biodiesel. The Rocks Aroma Festival will be held again next year on the 31st of July 2011.
