Ace Frehley Demo- Singing Paul Stanley’s ’Wouldn’t You Like To Know Me’
“This is a recently unearthed cassette the from the 70’s with ’Ace Frehley Demos-Electric Lady’ written on the cassette. I bought it from a guy who inherited tapes from a friend of his who was an engineer in the 70’s at Electric Lady in New York City.
He said Ace recorded demos for his solo album there. Falling behind the rest of the band Ace was in dire need of songs so he asked Paul if he had any songs that would work for him. Paul gave him ’Wouldn’t You Like to Know Me’ as Paul wasn’t planning on recording it. Ace recorded this demo and Paul immediately changed his mind.
