MOLE - Columbine (Official Music Video)

This is the official music video for Columbine by MOLE. Columbine is the first song from the upcoming EP ‘Violent Playground’. The footage was shot in the surroundings of the south point of Lake Vättern in Sweden. Filmed with a Black Magic 4k Production Camera. LYRICS: From the start, we sought perspectives that could be bound to the main theme Violent Playground. With this very first song, we wanted to explore the mind of a person who’s willing to commit evil, horrific deeds. We dove into the tragic events of the Columbine massacre conducted by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold (Also known as Reb and Vodka) in Colorado 1999. After various documentaries, Bowling for Columbine for an instance, and many others we came up with the sample ideas with Michael Moore/Marilyn Manson and from the Basement tapes The title Columbine is used as a figure of speech - to give the song a known scenery since the perspective still is generally in a way.
